A holiday without culinary pleasure? No way! Your palate also deserves a holiday and wants to be spoiled with South Tyrolean and Alpine-Mediterranean delicacies.
Whether you choose half board or bed & breakfast - every morning our rich breakfast buffetwill give you a good reason to get out of bed! Look forward to South Tyrolean dairy products and organic bread varieties, a manual flaker to create your own muesli, a rich selection of cold cuts and cheeses, crunchy vegetables, sweet treats, fresh fruit salad, crispy biscuits, tea and juice bar, aromatic coffee, egg dishes on request, and much more!
Enjoy sweet & savoury delicacies kissed by the morning sun - on request on our sunny terrasse. That's how the day begins at Hotel Schweigl!
Those who have opted for half board*can help themselves to a fresh salad and appetizers buffet and then enjoy a refined 3-course menu with Alpine-Mediterranean dishes and vegetarian delicacies in the evening. Everything is lovingly prepared with regional and fresh quality products.
If you don’t want to plan your evening meal, you can choose our "flexible half-board" option: where and what would you prefer to eat? Would you rather eat our full menu (25 € per person), or just individual dishes from it? Otherwise you can enjoy your dinner in one of the surrounding restaurants & pizzerias - the nearest restaurant is only 100 m away from our hotel. Just decide day by day, always in the morning at breakfast!
Do you suffer from food allergies or intolerances? Inform us in advance so that we can prepare special, compatible dishes for you!
* As family time is very important to us, our kitchen and service staff also spend Sundays with their loved ones. That's why we only offer breakfast and no dinner on Sundays - except in the Christmas, Carnival and Easter time. However, we are happy to recommend you tasty restaurants & pizzerias in the surroundings - the nearest restaurant is only 100m from Hotel Schweigl! Sunday dinner is already excluded from the price of your stay.

Soothing wellness in our Relax & Wellness Oasis in S. Valburga - South Tyrol
Gentle landscapes - sometimes lush green, sometimes white -, majestic mountains, dreamy alpine villages, traditional farms ... Nestled in the holiday region of Merano and Environs, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the suggestive Ultental Valley offers a little piece of "unspoilt world", perfect for those who love peace and quiet.
Although this is already wellness enough, in our hotel ther’s also a small & cosy wellness area, where you can simply take a swim in the pool, sweat in the sauna or regenerate in the relaxation room after an eventful day in nature, in the museum or visiting a city.
